J.D. is a New York girl who likes to rock out southern style. Her sound is - where rock meets country. Often described as Roseanne Cash meets Melissa Etheridge and with a coveted status as a regular performer at the famous Bluebird Café in Nashville, J.D. Danner is not just another girl with a guitar… She is an artist with a mission to change the world through the power of music. In effort to do this J.D. has partnered with the American Cancer Society, Women In Distress and Forgotten Soldiers Outreach along with regularly touring to perform at military bases the U.S. and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in support of our troops.
Her powerful tribute song to our troops called, "Thanks To The Brave" was chosen by the Fort Hood Army Base television station to be used in a variety of programs replacing Toby Keith’s “American Soldier”. The song was also used by the NFL Indianapolis Colts cheerleaders to perform for our troops overseas. J.D. performed that song at the Veteran's Day halftime show for the Indianapolis Colts.
