SONGS ADDED!! & News On Upcoming CD Release !
>Finally
an update on the new CD status!
Here's the skinny - the production is in the
"mix" phase now. The CD is being mixed by
the awesomely talented Mr. Wayne Hood who worked with
Steven Tyler on Pink's latest CD.
J.D. was honored to have co-written this
CD with the amazing Nashville producer/writer Mr.
Keith Ridenour. The project is being produced
by Keith and piano virtuoso Mr. Dennis Blischak.
Additionally, J.D. had the pleasure to work
with Nashville vocalist Ms. Tammy Pierce who sang
background vocals on the CD. Tammy has sung on
projects for countless Nashville superstars such as
Faith Hill, Reba and Carrie Underwood and toured
with Kenny Rogers for 5 years. We cannot wait
for ya'll to hear the new music!! BTW -we are
targeting a late May release...
So until then we have posted on MySpace five tunes from the new CD which will be titled, "Hard Road To Heaven". It's gonna make you dance, it's gonna make you laugh and possibly cry but most of all it's gonna make you ROCK!

Greetings My Little Friends!
Do y'all remember this message from my website?
"Big thanks to all of you for your messages and
emails - you all truly keep me going in this crazy biz! My
apologies for not always answering in a timely manner.
Sometimes I feel like I am on a runaway train... With
working on the new CD, performing, traveling and a little
bit of life drama - wheweeee I need some down time
soon..."
Well - I am finally getting some R&R! I am right now on a 7 night cruise to the beautiful Caribbean.
Yes folks - it's that time of year
again - the Danner Family Cruise! This is always a wonderful
time to re-connect with family - sharing old stories, new
stories, lots of laughter and lots of food and drink!
As was on the "Love Boat" - there is truly
something for everyone on these ships. Now as you can
probably tell by my vampiress complexion - I am not the
"fun in the sun" type of girl - but I do
"love the night life"... Most nights I will be
found dancing the "last dance" in the disco and
then hang in the casino with the other children if the night
. Plus there are a few of us in our group that do the after
midnight hangin' out thing so that's a good thing for me. In
fact, I think there now may be some footage out there of me
dancing in the Conga line at the Lido Deck midnight pool
party. (Hmmmm - mental note - I've gotta get my hands on
that before we reach land)!
Anywho, along with the fam - I have been spending my time
with Mr. Jack Daniels and a very tasty frozen rum beverage
called a "Loco Coco". So with the exception of an
occasional brain-freeze, life is good here on the high
seas... I had a massage, a facial and I have now gotten
accustomed to eating every hour on the hour. Well, my jeans
still fit so you will still recognize me however I don't
know how I will go back to living without an all night
buffet and tea -time every day at 3:30. Yes, it will be back
to the real world soon...
However, I am looking forward to getting the new CD done and
released. We are planning a short summer tour and a full
schedule in the fall. And don't forget the CD release
parties! Team J and I will keep you posted on all news...
And once again, a great big THANKS to all of you who
continue to support my music by coming out to shows, buying
CDs, sending emails and sharing the love!
