With more than 50,000 hits on YouTube, J.D. has been dubbed "Joan Jett meets Johnny Cash."
In October 2020, JD's version of Janis Ian's song titled, "Better Times Will Come" was chosen to be on Janis' website - BetterTimesWillCome.com.
Two years later, in October 2022, JD won the MARK award for her song, "Redneck Limousine."
Currently, JD is writing for a new album and is planning a European tour in late 2024.
